Do I need an iPhone with Face ID / TrueDepth?
Camera Depth mode needs the TrueDepth camera (iPhone X and newer). If you don’t have one — or you train in the dark — switch to Nose Touch mode, which works on any iPhone with iOS 17+.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything runs on device.
Is my workout data private?
Yes. Sessions are stored locally in SwiftData. Optionally synced to Apple Health (which you control). We don’t collect, sell, or share workout data.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing — unless you turn on the optional Back Down Feature, which knocks you down one level per skipped day.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes. A debug option in Settings (visible when Pro is active) wipes all stats, achievements, and resets your level.
Is there an Apple Watch app?
Not yet — PushUp Synth is iPhone-only today. If you’d love a Watch companion, beam your feedback to the mothership and we’ll log it.
