Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of MultiViewer ("the App"), developed and published by Dissolve Media AB ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Sweden. By downloading, installing, or using MultiViewer, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MultiViewer, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MultiViewer is a screen sharing application for Apple TV that allows users to display up to 16 screens simultaneously from web browsers. The App uses WebRTC peer-to-peer technology to stream video directly between devices.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MultiViewer for personal or professional purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose
You may not attempt to circumvent any security or licensing mechanisms

4. Free Trial & Purchase

MultiViewer offers a free evaluation mode with 10-minute session limits. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited session duration. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

                No Subscription: The professional license is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring charges or hidden fees.
            

5. User Responsibilities

When using MultiViewer, you agree to:

Only share content you have the right to share
Not use the service to transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Keep your room codes and passwords secure
Inform all participants that their screens are being displayed
Comply with applicable privacy laws when sharing screens in professional or educational settings

6. Privacy & Data

Your use of MultiViewer is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary:

Video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer and never pass through our servers
No video data is recorded, stored, or accessible by us
Only temporary connection metadata is processed for session coordination
All session data is automatically deleted after 5 minutes of inactivity

7. Intellectual Property

MultiViewer, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Dissolve Media AB. All rights not explicitly granted in these Terms are reserved.

8. Third-Party Services

MultiViewer relies on the following third-party services:

WebRTC / STUN Servers: For NAT traversal and peer connection establishment
Cloud Signaling Server: For initial connection handshake coordination
Apple App Store: For purchase processing and license validation

We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MultiViewer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
The quality of video streams will meet specific requirements
The App will be compatible with all network configurations

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dissolve Media AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of MultiViewer.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dissolve Media AB from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of MultiViewer, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to MultiViewer at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of MultiViewer after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
